DESCRIPTION ### **Job Description** **Job Title:** Assembly Supervisor **Area:** Construction / Industrial Assembly **Reports to:** Project Manager / Site Supervisor **Location:** Cimitarra, Colombia **Position Type:** Operational – Technical Supervision **Estimated Start Date:** Early 2026 #### **Position Objective** To supervise, coordinate, and ensure the proper execution of equipment, structures, or systems assembly processes, guaranteeing compliance with company and client standards for **quality, safety, productivity, and deadlines**. #### **Main Responsibilities** * Coordinate daily field or plant assembly team activities. * Verify that work is carried out according to project drawings, technical specifications, and schedules. * Ensure availability and proper use of materials, tools, and equipment required for assembly. * Supervise compliance with occupational safety regulations and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Conduct periodic inspections to ensure assembly quality and technical compliance. * Report progress, incidents, deviations, and requirements to the planning department or project manager. * Train, guide, and supervise technical personnel in best practices and assembly procedures. * Manage technical and administrative documentation related to the assembly process (logs, reports, checklists, approvals, etc.). * Coordinate with other disciplines (civil, electrical, mechanical, instrumentation) to ensure proper system integration. * Promote a culture of safety, order, and cleanliness in the work area. #### **Job Requirements** * **Education:** Technician or professional degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field. * **Experience:** Minimum of 3 years supervising industrial, electromechanical, or structural assembly. * **Technical knowledge:** * Ability to read and interpret drawings and diagrams. * Knowledge of industrial assembly standards and procedures. * Field quality control and safety practices. * Preparation of technical reports and document control. * **Technological skills:** Proficiency with digital tools (Excel, planning software such as MS Project or Primavera, corporate email, and reporting platforms). * **Availability:** Willingness to travel or work on-site according to project needs. #### **Key Competencies** * Operational leadership. * Organization and planning. * Results orientation. * Teamwork. * Proactivity and adaptability. * Commitment to safety. * Effective communication.
