**Position Title:** National ERW (Explosive Remnants of War) and EHV (Explosive Hazard Victim Assistance) Officer. Permanent, full time **Contract:** Indefinite. **Salary:** $3\.600\.000\-3\.800\.000 Availability to travel. **POSITION OBJECTIVE** Support the coordination, monitoring and quality assurance of Explosive Ordnance Risk Education and victim assistance activities implemented within humanitarian demining projects and emergency situations. **GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION** * Support the development of methodologies and tools to monitor implementation activities according to national standards and approved internal procedures, as well as coordinate their application with field teams. * Support training and refresher courses for proper implementation of pedagogical methodologies for conducting workshops and other components of explosive ordnance risk education aimed at promoting safe behaviors with required technical rigor. * Coordinate and monitor community and institutional engagement activities at departmental and national levels for information gathering and institutional coordination to strengthen explosive ordnance risk education and victim assistance within the Organization. * Coordinate and implement intervention plans for explosive ordnance risk education and victim assistance throughout all project cycles, ensuring interventions across all prevention components. * Support guidance, planning and execution of activities and complementary support for survivor beneficiaries of explosive ordnance risk education and victim assistance projects. * Conduct quality assurance and control of information and activities related to explosive ordnance risk education and victim assistance as required by the organization. * Support institutional liaison activities according to operational projections and program needs at departmental and national levels. * Plan and carry out supervision and monitoring of activities performed by personnel under supervision. * Support consolidation of reports on various activities related to explosive ordnance risk education and victim assistance. * Coordinate and support planning of explosive ordnance risk education activities and components according to national models and standards. * Supervise the creation/update of municipal victim assistance pathways and proper reporting to national authorities. * Support planning and monitoring of achievement of national-level targets in explosive ordnance risk education and victim assistance. * Monitor implementation of explosive ordnance risk education surveys regarding knowledge acquisition and retention. * Coordinate guidance, planning and execution of activities and complementary support for survivor beneficiaries of explosive ordnance risk education and victim assistance projects. **Requirements** * Professional or Technologist in fields relevant to the position. * Minimum of 4 years of experience in similar roles and team coordination. * Required operational certifications: Basic ERW course certification, Certification in Sectoral Labor Competence Standard for ERW, Certification in ERW models for humanitarian demining and/or emergency situations. **Benefits** Indefinite-term contract.
