**Team Overview**
As an Analyst on our team, you will join a world-class group of Statisticians, Data Scientists, Mathematicians, and Modelers on a mission to extract insights from information and put them to good use. **Role Overview And Core Responsibilities**
* Develop credit risk management and business intelligence analytical solutions through consulting and research engagements serving TransUnion’s clients. This role requires an understanding of consumer lending and credit risk management practices.
* Extract data, perform segmentation and statistical analysis on large population datasets (using tools such as R and SQL).
* Support the development of predictive models and business intelligence solutions for clients including credit lenders, insurance companies, and other financial services institutions.
Design and lead initiatives involving descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics leveraging a variety of techniques (e.g., segmentation, logistic regression, survival analysis, principal component analysis, sensitivity and scenario analysis).

**Required Knowledge And Experiences**
* Professionals in Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields; final-year students are eligible.
* 2 years of professional experience (including internships; additional experience in the Financial sector is a plus) or equivalent academic or research projects.
* Experience with the R programming language (interest in programming) and/or Python.
* Experience writing queries against large SQL databases.
* Experience developing statistical models.
* Advanced intermediate level of English.
* Strong written and communication skills.
