We are looking for a **Cloud Engineer** to join our dynamic and highly skilled team. This role is crucial for designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions for our clients in the financial/banking sector. In this position, you can work **remotely** from anywhere in Latin America, and it would be **hybrid if you are located in Quito, Ecuador.** Your work will focus on ensuring that our cloud architectures are robust, scalable, and secure. **Responsibilities:** * Set up, deploy, and support cloud infrastructure, ensuring it aligns with design specifications. * Use automation tools and scripts for creating and managing infrastructure. * Collaborate closely with the DevOps team to integrate CI/CD pipelines enabling more agile infrastructure delivery. * Implement security policies and solutions to protect data and cloud resources. Also monitor compliance with regulations and security best practices. * Maintain clear and detailed documentation regarding architecture, configurations, and processes to facilitate understanding and maintenance. * Collaborate in developing reference architectures including storage, networking, databases, computing, and other services. **Requirements** * 3+ years of experience working with cloud architectures (preferably AWS or Azure). * Cloud Platforms Experience: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc. * Cloud Services: Understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. * Familiarity with automation and scripting tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure ARM). * Understanding of security and compliance best practices. * Knowledge of virtual networks, VPNs, and inter-cloud connectivity. * Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools (Azure DevOps). * Understanding of containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). * Experience using cloud environment monitoring and management tools such as CloudWatch (AWS), Azure Monitor, or Stackdriver (GCP). * At least one year of experience working with companies in the financial sector. **Desirable:** * Cloud provider certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, etc.). **Benefits** At Devsu, we aim to create an environment where you can thrive both personally and professionally.
