Job Summary:
A specialized technician responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and support of electronic security equipment, with a focus on continuous improvement and warranty management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Component-level electronic diagnosis and repair
2. Remote and on-site technical support for customers
3. Warranty management and technical documentation
1. **Electronic Diagnosis and Repair:** Component-level diagnosis of power supplies, motherboards, video modules, and other circuits in electronic security equipment (DVR/NVR, cameras, access control systems). Soldering and replacement of defective electronic components using soldering stations, multimeters, and other bench tools.
2. **Remote and On-Site Technical Support:** Handling support tickets and providing remote/telephone support to internal and external customers. Configuring and validating equipment prior to dispatch or delivery, including functional testing before equipment departure.
3. **Warranty Management and Laboratory Operations:** Conducting firmware, compatibility, and integration tests in the laboratory. Documenting processes in Warranty V.2, preparing technical assessments, and managing RMA cases with manufacturers when required.
4. **Documentation and Continuous Improvement:** Timely submission of technical assessments and diagnostic reports. Regular reporting of recurring issues to Technical Support Leadership and structured feedback to drive continuous process improvement.
