Assurance of data quality, security, and traceability **Job Description** ---------------------- A leading technology-sector company requires a Data Engineer for its team, with three (3) years of professional experience in similar roles related to data engineering, analytics, or large-scale data solution development. Academic Background: Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or related fields. Requirements and/or Knowledge for the Position: * Languages and tools: SQL, Python, Spark. * ETLs and data pipelines. * Version control: Git. * Visualization tools: Power BI, Tableau, or others. * AWS services: Redshift, S3, Glue, Kinesis. * Databases: relational, NoSQL, and preferably graph databases (Cypher). * Data architectures: data lake, data warehouse, automation, and scalability. Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion, transformation, and loading. * Build and optimize large-scale data pipelines in distributed environments. * Automate data processes (validation, enrichment, monitoring, delivery). * Write efficient SQL queries for information extraction and analysis. * Develop integrations with APIs to feed analytical models and systems. * Ensure data quality, security, and traceability. * Create visualizations and insights supporting strategic decision-making. Professional Competencies: Analytical ability and problem-solving skills, logical and structured thinking, attention to detail, and results orientation. Salary: Between $9,000,000 and $10,000,000 monthly + non-statutory benefits. Contract Type: Indefinite-term contract.
