Proficiency in Java, Serenity BDD, Cucumber, and prior experience applied specifically in the Insurance sector is essential. This is your opportunity to lead the technological transformation of the insurance industry, driving excellence and innovating with cutting-edge tools and AI in a high-impact environment. ### **Responsibilities** * Design and implement manual and automated testing strategies for projects following agile methodologies. * Automate functional test scenarios using Java, Serenity BDD, Cucumber, and the Screenplay pattern. * Define and write structured acceptance criteria in Gherkin language. * Manage documentation, reporting, and tracking of findings using Azure DevOps. * Execute API and service tests via Postman and perform validation queries against SQL databases. * Validate integrated functionalities on platforms such as CRM Salesforce within the insurance domain. * Design Artificial Intelligence prompts to optimize and accelerate daily QA activities. ### **Requirements** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields (ISTQB certification desirable). * **Experience:** Minimum 3 years of experience in manual and automated testing in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) and knowledge of the Insurance sector. ### **Technical Knowledge** * Agile frameworks: Scrum and Kanban * Languages and frameworks: Java, Serenity BDD, Cucumber, and Gherkin * Architecture and patterns: Screenplay design pattern * Testing and development tools: Postman, Visual Studio Code, and Azure DevOps * Databases and CRM: SQL and CRM Salesforce * QA innovation: Prompt design for QA and AI tools (Claude) ### **APPLY NOW and become part of this story!** **Conditions** --------------- * You must be located in **Medellín** to work **hybridly** (2 days at the client’s office, 1 day at Sofka’s home office). * **Indefinite-term contract or Contractor** — We aim for long-term relationships and want you to be part of our family for many years! * **Seeking professional growth?** At Sofka, we offer a **learning ecosystem** with multiple tools to bridge skill gaps and enhance your capabilities — you decide how you want to grow!
