





The Extrusion Operator is responsible for operating, controlling, and supporting the extrusion process of materials (plastics or other polymers), ensuring compliance with the organization’s established standards for quality, safety, productivity, and order. Their role is critical to ensuring continuity of the production process and the quality of the final product. * Prior experience in extrusion processes (desirable). * Basic knowledge of industrial machinery operation. * Knowledge of quality control, measurement, and product verification. Responsibilities of the Extrusion Operator * Operate the extrusion machine according to established parameters (temperature, speed, pressure, etc.). * Verify proper equipment functionality before, during, and after the production process. * Feed the machine with the appropriate raw material, ensuring correct dosage. * Monitor and control the quality of the extruded product, performing measurements and basic adjustments as necessary. * Record production process information in established formats (output, waste, stoppages, incidents). * Identify and report failures, deviations, or anomalies in the process or machinery. * Support basic preventive maintenance and cleaning of the machine and work area. * Comply with Occupational Health and Safety regulations, properly using personal protective equipment (PPE). * Maintain order and cleanliness at the workstation in accordance with company policies (5S). * Follow organizational procedures, technical instructions, and internal policies.
