This is an opportunity to take the traditional functional label and empower it with digital technologies that can give each item a unique digital identity and a digital life. **www.averydennison.com****.** **Job Description** Primary Responsibilities * Operate screen printing, flexographic, and heat stamping machines for 1- to 5-color printing on nylon and polyester fabric substrates. * Meet production targets according to assigned orders, ensuring delivery deadlines are met. * Retrieve production orders, technical data sheets, and materials based on delivery dates, verifying that order information complies with required specifications. * Accurately complete the “Time Analysis Control” form. * Perform proper machine setup, verifying alignment with specifications—preferably using second-run materials to minimize waste. * Mount 1 or more lines (rolls), depending on the photopolymer used. * Thread material, checking the technical data sheet to determine whether drying oven passage is required. * Select required inks and mount the photopolymer(s) according to the specific tag being produced. * Adjust printing pressures. * Conduct machine test runs, continuously inspecting consumables and raw materials. * Program counters. * Produce the production sample and attach it to the production order for start-up approval. * Mark finished products with appropriate traceability information. * Execute production orders while minimizing waste to the greatest extent possible. * Sort finished products into the designated area for subsequent cutting or folding. * Perform thorough machine cleaning, verifying all components are in good condition; clean oven, tension rollers, ink pans, photopolymers, and replace slitter needles. * Ensure optimal production quality per the technical data sheet. * Provide necessary information to the incoming shift operator to ensure continuity of production processes. * Report issues and complete required forms whenever machine damage occurs and maintenance team support is needed. * Maintain a clean and organized workstation and common plant areas daily, in accordance with assigned shifts. **Requirements** Minimum Education: High School Diploma / Technical Degree in Graphic Arts Schedules: Rotating shifts Monday through Saturday (6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.) or full-day shift from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with availability to work Saturdays on overtime. Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in graphic arts finishing. **Additional Information** Knowledge in Printing Areas involving water-based, oil-based, solvent-based inks and resins. Knowledge of ink preparation, anilox roll handling, flammable liquid ink handling, material handling, machine setup, and standardized work procedures.
