Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced driver with expertise in operating cargo vehicles, performing pre-operational inspections, and complying with safety regulations and customer service standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Transportation of materials and customer service 2. Pre-operational inspection and cargo safety 3. Knowledge of basic mechanics and traffic regulations High school diploma; 1 to 2 years of experience in the position, preferably including defensive driving training, knowledge of basic mechanics, training in traffic regulations and road signage, driving under adverse conditions, and driving techniques according to vehicle type. A Category C2 driver's license is mandatory. FUNCTIONS: - Conduct pre-operational inspection of the vehicle. - Report any non-conformities detected during the pre-operational inspection to the Warehouse Manager, Maintenance Coordinator and/or mechanic, for corrective action. - Drive cargo vehicles transporting various materials. - Assist with loading and unloading to verify compliance with safety and cargo protection requirements. - Request authorization from the Maintenance Coordinator for repairs and/or additional maintenance performed outside the company. - Comply with company requirements regarding documentation and reporting. - Deliver goods to the designated location, ensuring excellent customer service and outstanding customer interaction. - Ensure the safety and safeguarding of goods, equipment and/or materials being transported. - Ensure the physical safety and protection of accompanying persons.
