At G4S, we are looking for a **Security Officer** to join our team. **Location:** La Dorada, Caldas **Work Mode:** On-site **Contract Type:** Indefinite-term contract **What Are We Looking For in You?** **Are you a high school graduate (any track) with over 1 year of experience as a security officer/guard and holding a valid security training certificate? This vacancy is for you!** **What Will You Do?** * **Crisis Management and Response:** Act as the first responder during incidents (theft attempts, fire hazards, medical emergencies), applying advanced security protocols until reinforcements or authorities arrive. * **Risk Analysis and Assessment:** Identify vulnerabilities at the service site (e.g., inadequate lighting, malfunctioning cameras, unusual visitor patterns) and propose corrective measures to your supervisor. * **Advanced Auditing and Monitoring:** Operate complex CCTV systems, electronic alarm systems, and access control software; detect failures and manage recordings for investigative purposes. * **Preparation of Detailed Reports:** Document incidents thoroughly—including witness statements, chronological timelines, and actions taken—to serve as legal evidence or internal investigation support. * **Operational Closure Control:** Supervise high-risk processes such as cash drawer closing, loading/unloading of high-value goods, or securing critical areas (e.g., servers, vaults). * **Training and Guidance (Mentorship):** Guide and supervise inexperienced officers to ensure strict compliance with job standards and procedures. * **Coordination with Authorities:** Serve as the primary point of contact with the National Police, fire department, or other emergency agencies during an incident, coordinating access and information sharing. **What Are We Looking For?** * Valid security training certificate * 1 year of experience in security, CCTV operation, radio and mobile phone usage, among others. * A strong attitude and eagerness to learn **We Offer:** Well-being plan Growth opportunities Collaborative environment
