You will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling our platform’s core services—ensuring performance, security, and quality in every line of code. This is not a maintenance role: here you will make architectural decisions, have a voice in the technical roadmap, and collaborate directly with the product team in an agile, high-velocity environment. **What You’ll Do** Design and implement robust, well-documented REST APIs using Django / Django REST Framework Model and optimize PostgreSQL schemas for complex domains (multi\-tenant, audits, approval workflows) Implement and maintain asynchronous tasks and job queues using Celery \+ Redis Write unit and integration tests as a natural part of development—not as an afterthought Collaborate on architectural decisions, code reviews, and definition of team technical standards Actively participate in the full cycle: refinement, development, QA, and deployment **What We Need (Non-Negotiable Requirements):** **5\+ years** of professional backend development experience in fields such as systems engineering, computer science, or related disciplines Deep expertise in **Python** and **Django** (including ORM, signals, middleware, custom management commands) Solid experience with **Django REST Framework** and scalable API design Advanced proficiency with **PostgreSQL**: indexing, complex queries, optimization, production migrations Real-world experience with **Celery** \+ **Redis** in production environments (not just tutorials) Strong culture of **automated testing**: unit, integration, mocking—with pytest or equivalent Clear understanding of SaaS application architecture: multi\-tenancy, security, separation of concerns Ability to read, write, and communicate in technical English (documentation, PRs, issues) **Bonus Points (Desirable):** Knowledge of **AWS**: EC2, RDS, S3, SQS, ECS, or Lambda Experience with **Next.js / React**—not the focus of this role, but versatility is valued Familiarity with **Docker** and containerized deployments Experience building applications with complex workflows (approvals, states, audits, compliance) Knowledge of security standards for financial or regulated applications **Your Profile** You think fast, execute fast, and iterate quickly when you make mistakes.
