Learn more at experianplc.com. **Job Description** Join the team supporting the development and maintenance of products based on alternative data, as one of the roles enabling the application of a machine learning engine in Colombia. This role requires analytical expertise for model design, monitoring, and tuning. * Build and maintain machine learning and statistical models (e.g., propensity, loss, etc.) using alternative data sources, transactional data, and bureau data. * Periodically evaluate the performance of trained models. * Ensure training data meets Experian standards; raise alerts and propose preventive and mitigation steps if standards are not met. * Diagnose and resolve (propose and implement) issues of low accuracy and incorrect categorization, and implement related continuous improvement measures. * Document the modeling process, testing, coding, and all necessary documentation to support the model. **Qualifications** * Languages: Intermediate-to-advanced conversational and technical reading English is required, minimum CEFR B2. * Minimum 1.5 years of practical experience with Python, preferably including both native Python syntax and key analytical packages (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib). * Strong knowledge of probability, statistical inference, optimization algorithms, linear algebra, and calculus. * Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles, data structures, Linux, and Git-based version control tools. * Attention to detail, ability to identify problems quickly and propose solutions. **Additional Information** Our uniqueness is that we celebrate yours.
