You will be a key player in Fertrac’s strategic data migration project to the cloud (AWS). Your focus will be on integration and extraction of information from our Odoo ERP, ensuring that data currently residing in this system connects and migrates correctly to the new infrastructure. You will also support data migration from Excel files, working closely with the data team. Technologies and tools you will use: Odoo Python SQL, AWS services (RDS, S3 or others as required by the project) Git Key Responsibilities: Extract, map, and transform data from Odoo for integration with the new database on AWS. Understand Odoo’s data structure and modules to ensure a complete and coherent migration. Support migration of information from Excel files into relational databases. Develop Python scripts to automate data extraction and integration processes between Odoo and AWS. Document data flows, field mappings, and transformation rules. Collaborate with the team to resolve inconsistencies among data sources (Excel, Odoo). What are we looking for in you? ERP knowledge (preferably Odoo): understanding its data structure, core modules, and how to extract information (via API, direct queries, or exports). Basic-to-intermediate knowledge of SQL and relational databases. Basic-to-intermediate Python programming skills. Ability to understand and map information flows across different systems. Education and Experience: Technical or university degree in Systems Engineering, Data Science, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. Experience Ideally 1–2 years of experience working with ERP systems (preferably Odoo), system integration, or data migration. We also consider self-taught candidates with demonstrable ERP experience and a strong portfolio (GitHub, personal projects, Odoo implementations).
