Our platform enables any IoT device to access all LATAM mobile operators through a single SIM, dynamically and automatically switching carriers based on availability. We are a team of 30 people, founded by 4 telecom industry veterans, headquartered in Madrid with offices in the United States and Colombia. Learn more at www.moabits.com. **The Role** We’re looking for a **QA Engineer Junior** who is curious, disciplined, and embraces an AI\-first mindset. This is not a role where you’ll manually execute test cases from a spreadsheet — you’ll operate at the intersection of testing, automation, and AI-assisted workflows to help us deliver reliable connectivity infrastructure for thousands of IoT devices across LATAM. If you naturally break things to understand how they work, automate repetitive tasks instead of doing them twice, and view AI as a productivity multiplier—not just a buzzword—we want to talk to you. **What You’ll Do** * Design and execute test plans for our connectivity platform, covering API endpoints, dashboard functionality, and connectivity management flows * Write and maintain automated test suites — we’ll train you on our stack, but you should feel comfortable with basic scripting (Python, JavaScript or similar) * Use AI tools (Claude, Copilot, custom automations) to generate test cases, analyze logs, create regression suites, and accelerate your workflow * Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps, expected vs. actual behavior, and severity classification * Collaborate closely with developers and product during sprints to detect issues before they reach production * Help build and improve our QA processes — we’re growing fast and you’ll have real influence on how quality is managed * Participate in exploratory testing sessions, thinking beyond the happy path to uncover edge cases * Contribute to API testing using tools like Postman, Insomnia, or automated frameworks **Tech Stack** You don’t need to master everything from day one, but you’ll work with these technologies: * Backend: Java * Frontend: Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript * Database: PostgreSQL * Infrastructure: AWS, Docker, CI/CD pipelines * Testing: Postman, Selenium, Playwright, automation frameworks #### **Your profile** **What We’re Looking For** **Must-Have:** * 1–2 years of experience in QA, testing, or a related technical role (internships and project experience count) * Solid understanding of testing fundamentals: test planning, test cases, bug reporting, regression testing * Basic scripting ability in at least one language (Python, JavaScript, Bash or similar) * Familiarity with API testing concepts (REST, HTTP methods, status codes, request/response validation) * AI-driven mindset — actively use AI tools in your daily work and demonstrate how they make you faster and more effective * Strong written communication — your bug reports must tell a clear story * Proactive mindset — you don’t wait to be told what to test **Nice-to-Have (bonus points):** * Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or similar) * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and how automated tests integrate into deployment workflows * Exposure to telecommunications, IoT, or connectivity concepts * Experience with performance or load testing tools * Familiarity with agile/Scrum workflows and tools such as ClickUp, Jira or Linear * Fluency in both Spanish and English (our team operates bilingually) #### **Why us?** **Why Moabits** * Real impact — you’ll be our first dedicated QA engineer, defining how quality works across the entire platform * AI-forward culture — we don’t just talk about AI; we build our workflows around it.
