Failure analysis and improvement proposals A prominent mining-sector company is seeking an Equipment Supervisor: a professional in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance, Industrial Engineering, or related fields, with 4–5 years of experience in operation or maintenance of mining machinery and proven experience leading operational teams. Key responsibilities include coordinating with the mechanical department on the preventive maintenance plan, tracking repair times (MTTR), verifying daily mechanical availability, monitoring machine-hour records; additionally, analyzing recurring failures and proposing improvements, managing maintenance (preventive and corrective), reliability metrics (MTTR, MTBF, availability), hydraulic and diesel systems, underground mining safety, and fleet planning. Educational requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance, Industrial Engineering, or related field. $660,000 relocation allowance + $249,095 transportation allowance + accommodation + meals + room cleaning + laundry and tailoring.
