Lead cost optimization and sourcing initiatives **CORE PURPOSE:** Strategically manage assigned raw material categories to ensure total cost competitiveness, supply continuity, and alignment with PPG Global Procurement strategies through management of relationships with domestic and international suppliers, negotiation of commercial agreements, and generation of executive-level analyses to support decision-making. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Strategically manage raw material categories, including market, cost, risk, and supply analysis. * Develop and maintain strategic relationships with local and international suppliers, serving as the regional focal point. * Negotiate and administer commercial agreements and contracts in coordination with Legal and Global Procurement. * Lead cost optimization (FCO) initiatives and strategic sourcing projects, ensuring benefit capture. * Collaborate with Global and Regional Procurement to implement strategies aligned with corporate objectives. * Identify and mitigate supply risks, supporting operational continuity and inventory decisions. * Prepare and present executive reports on savings, supplier performance, and risks. * Lead sourcing and tendering processes, ensuring competitiveness, transparency, and supplier development. * Ensure Vendor Master File management and quality within ERP systems, complying with SGI policies and standards. * Guarantee compliance with global procurement, ethics, and internal control policies. **About us:** **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD™** Through leadership in innovation, sustainability and color, PPG helps customers in industrial, transportation, consumer products, and construction markets and aftermarkets to enhance more surfaces in more ways than does any other company.
