




**Job Objective** Conduct laboratory and field tests for quality control of materials such as soils, concrete, aggregates, and asphalt, ensuring compliance with project specifications, current regulations (such as INVIAS or ASTM), and company-established guidelines. **Main Functions** * Perform sampling and laboratory testing of soils, concrete, aggregates, asphalt, water, among others. * Conduct field tests including compaction tests, in-situ density, moisture content, and other required tests. * Accurately document and record test results. * Calibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments. * Assist in the preparation of technical reports. * Ensure compliance with safety, occupational health, and quality protocols. * Report anomalies or out-of-specification results promptly. * Collaborate with the project technical team in interpreting test results. **Job Requirements** * **Education:** Technical degree or technologist in soil, concrete, and asphalt laboratories, or related fields. * **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year in similar roles on infrastructure projects. * **Specific Knowledge:** * INVIAS, ICONTEC, ASTM, or AASHTO standards * Operation of laboratory and field equipment * Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications **Skills and Competencies** * Attention to detail and precision in test execution. * Teamwork and effective communication. * Organization and time management. * Responsibility and commitment to quality.
