Position Summary: We are seeking an Internal Control Analyst to support the evaluation, strengthening, and continuous improvement of the internal control system through audits and risk analysis. Support for continuous improvement of organizational processes Internal Control Analyst We are looking for an Internal Control Analyst responsible for supporting the evaluation, strengthening, and continuous improvement of the organization’s internal control system through the execution of audits, risk analysis, and follow-up on improvement plans. Salary: $3,395,000 Schedule: Monday to Thursday: 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Friday: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (30-minute lunch break) Contract Type: Renewable contract every 6 months (2 periods), followed by indefinite-term employment Payments: Biweekly Academic Qualification: Professional degree in Public Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. Experience: Minimum 2 years in auditing, internal control, or related areas, preferably in the financial or cooperative sector. Main Responsibilities: Execute internal audit activities and process reviews. Analyze financial, operational, and administrative information to identify risks or inconsistencies. Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls. Support risk identification and management. Prepare audit reports with findings and recommendations. Follow up on action plans derived from audits. Verify compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies. Support continuous improvement of organizational processes. Apply data analysis to identify trends or potential irregularities. Provide guidance to departments in implementing controls. Desired Knowledge: Internal auditing, internal control, IFRS, risk management, SARLAFT regulations, intermediate Excel, Power BI, and office productivity tools.
