Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Assistant to conduct physicochemical analyses, sample characterization, and management of supplies and reagents in the hydrocarbons sector. Key Responsibilities: 1. Perform physicochemical analyses and sample characterization. 2. Manage and control supplies, equipment, and chemical reagents. 3. Support improvement and research projects. An Oil & Gas company dedicated to the production and marketing of hydrocarbon-derived products requires a Laboratory Assistant for its team, with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in similar positions. Required Profile Technical or Technological degree in Chemical Processes, Petroleum Engineering, or related fields; minimum one (1) year of laboratory experience, preferably in the hydrocarbons or industrial sector. Main Responsibilities · Receive, identify, and label samples of raw materials, process fluids, and dispatched products. · Perform physicochemical analyses and sample characterization. · Report, record, and document laboratory results. · Manage and control supplies, equipment, and chemical reagents according to current regulations. · Store and handle chemical reagents safely. · Comply with and implement procedures and instructions from the management system. · Support improvement and research projects as required. · Update SGI formats (equipment maintenance records, schedules, safety data sheets, chain-of-custody forms). · Issue technical assessments regarding product quality for release or dispatch. Working Conditions Schedule: Rotating shifts, Sunday to Sunday.
