Job Summary: Responsible for the maintenance and calibration of equipment for measuring pollutant emissions to ensure environmental regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Fieldwork and analytical capability **Job Objective:** Ensure proper operation, preventive and corrective maintenance, and basic calibration of equipment used to measure pollutant emissions generated by mobile sources, thereby guaranteeing compliance with current environmental regulations and technical guidelines established by IDEAM. **Academic Qualifications:** Technologist or Technician in related fields such as: Electronics, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, or related disciplines. **Required Experience:** Minimum two (2\) years of experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of electronic equipment; this period shall be counted from the issuance date of the technical professional card. **Technical Knowledge:** * Proficiency in electronic and mechanical diagnostic tools. * Preparation of technical reports and maintenance records. **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on gas analyzers and opacity meters. * Conduct inspection, cleaning, adjustment, and replacement of consumables for equipment. * Verify proper functioning of sensors, cameras, probes, hoses, pumps, and peripherals. * Support calibration and metrological verification processes. * Identify technical faults and issue repair diagnostics. * Install equipment in mobile environmental measurement units. * Provide technical support during audits and verification visits conducted by IDEAM. * Complete technical maintenance reports and equipment life-cycle records. * Ensure adherence to applicable internal procedures and regulatory requirements. **Professional Competencies:** * Analytical ability and problem-solving skills * Organization and attention to detail * Teamwork * Responsibility and accountability * Technical adaptability * Effective communication * Service orientation * Capability for fieldwork **Additional Requirements:** * Availability for travel * Basic proficiency in office software tools (Excel, Word, technical reporting) Employment Type: Indefinite-term Work Location: On-site employment
