A reputable construction-sector company is seeking an Electrical Assistant for the municipality of Melgar, with immediate availability for hiring, who will be responsible for: Position Purpose: Provide technical and operational support in the installation of solar energy systems (photovoltaic panels), particularly rooftop work, complying with electrical, industrial safety, and working-at-heights protocols. Main Responsibilities: Assist in installing structures, solar panels, and electrical wiring on building rooftops or roofs. Assist in cable laying, conduit and pipe installation, grounding, and electrical connections under supervision. Handle electric and manual tools according to instructions from the licensed electrician or supervisor. Assist in inspecting, cleaning, and organizing the work area and materials used. Comply with electrical safety and working-at-heights procedures. Properly use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE). Report any unsafe conditions or incidents to the immediate supervisor. Requirements: Minimum high school diploma or currently pursuing a technical program (preferably with basic electricity knowledge). Experience: Desirable minimum 6 months of experience supporting electrical installations, ideally in solar energy projects or similar construction works. Certifications: Working-at-heights training course (mandatory requirement). Desirable Knowledge: Basic handling of electric and manual tools. Fundamentals of photovoltaic systems (desirable). Basic RETIE standards and electrical safety. Skills and Competencies: Teamwork. Responsibility and discipline. Tolerance for physical labor and outdoor work. Attention to safety regulations. Ability to follow technical instructions.
