We are seeking our next **Water** **Project Engineer** in **Boyacá** **Role Objective** Manages multiple customer engineering projects across different countries and industrial divisions, either independently or through a team. Applies engineering skills to solve complex problems using Ecolab’s customer and market knowledge. **Responsibilities:** **Direct Project Administration:** * Manage and supervise daily project activities, ensuring adherence to established objectives. **Management of Relationships with Contractors, Customers, and Third Parties:** * Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal teams and contractors. * Serve as the primary point of contact to resolve concerns and issues with third parties. **CPI (Cost Project Index) Monitoring:** * Evaluate and analyze the project cost index to ensure operations remain within agreed efficiency parameters. * Propose improvements and adjustments based on CPI performance. **SPI (Scope Project Index) Monitoring:** * Monitor project progress against the defined scope using SPI. * Identify scope deviations and collaborate on implementing solutions. **Scope Management:** * Ensure all project deliverables align with the previously defined scope. * Facilitate controlled scope changes, managing required documentation and agreements. **Risk Identification and Management:** * Identify risks associated with project execution and develop mitigation plans. * Monitor and report risks related to contractors and scope compliance. **Support in Resource Coordination:** * Collaborate with other departments to ensure availability of resources necessary for project execution, without directly managing the budget. **Report Generation:** * Generate regular project status reports, including CPI and SPI metrics, for management and stakeholders. * Document project evolution and contractor relationships. **Minimum Requirements:** Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field (Mandatory) Minimum 3 years’ experience executing long-term projects, ideally related to water treatment Proficiency in Microsoft Project \- Full Office Suite Ability to interpret general drawings Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required (preferred) **Location:** Boyacá, with availability for national and international travel **About Ecolab:** At Ecolab, we prioritize our “talent-first” philosophy by building the most skilled and diverse team to excel across nearly three million customer sites.
