Job Summary: A leading company in the food sector is seeking a Documentary Logistics Assistant to manage vehicles, internal safety assessments, delivery appointments, and freight rate negotiations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Comprehensive logistics and transportation management in the food sector. 2. Negotiation of freight rates and sourcing of external carriers. 3. Verification and collection of information for contracted services. A leading company in the food sector is currently seeking a Documentary Logistics Assistant, a Logistics Technician or a professional with a related degree, with at least one year of experience (preferably within the food sector). · Responsibilities: Vehicle procurement; conducting internal safety assessments with external drivers. Scheduling delivery appointments with Isimo, Éxito Olímpica, Isimo, and Éxito warehouses. Reviewing documentation for imported and domestic goods. Arranging freight shipments and negotiating trip rates with external drivers. Preparing quotations with carriers and freight forwarders for vehicle transportation. Sourcing external drivers and vehicles. Verifying and collecting all relevant information for contracted services, whether external drivers and/or transport companies. What We Offer: Salary: $1,800,000 to 2,000,000 + transportation allowance + all statutory benefits. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, half-day on Saturday. Bi-weekly payments.
