Safe handling of chemical products and cross-contamination control **Job Description** ---------------------- A food industry company located in Rionegro is seeking personnel with a minimum of 12 months’ experience to join its team as a Plant Cleaning Operator or Sanitization Operator. Academic Qualification: Completed or ongoing basic secondary education / high school / primary education. Specific Responsibilities: * Perform cleaning and disinfection of production areas, equipment, utensils, and surfaces according to established POES. * Prepare and apply detergent and disinfectant solutions at specified concentrations. * Carry out and record cleaning and sanitization activities using defined formats. * Verify order, cleanliness, and hygienic-sanitary conditions of the plant before, during, and after operations. * Properly handle and store cleaning tools, chemicals, and equipment. Required Knowledge: * Cleaning and disinfection in food plants (POES). * Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for sanitation personnel. * Safe handling of chemical products and Safety Data Sheets (SDS). * Basic food safety. * Proper use of industrial cleaning equipment and tools. * Occupational Safety and Health applied to industrial cleaning tasks. * Cross-contamination control. * Basic waste management and environmental handling. * Basic knowledge of cleaning and disinfection in food plants (POES). Salary: $1.750.409 + transportation allowance + overtime and surcharges + social benefits. Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, daytime shifts starting at 06:00 a.m., 06:30 a.m., 07:00 a.m., 07:30 a.m., 08:00 a.m., or 08:30 a.m. Sunday work possible depending on scheduling. Contract Type: Project-based or task-based contract.
