Overview: A professional responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on Azure based on principles of automation, security, and operational efficiency. Acts as a bridge between development, security, and infrastructure teams, ensuring deployments are traceable, repeatable, and aligned with corporate governance standards (IaC, DevSecOps, FinOps, SRE). Job Responsibilities and Technical Skills: Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in Terraform for automated, modular, and versioned management of Azure resources. Familiarity with Bicep and ARM Templates as complementary alternatives. CI/CD Pipelines: Design and implementation of pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions, including validation, approval, security scanning, and automated deployment stages. Cloud Security (DevSecOps): Use of tools such as Checkov, tfsec, Gitleaks, and TruffleHog for IaC and secrets scanning. Configuration of PIM, access reviews (Azure AD Access Reviews), and MFA. Observability and Monitoring: Configuration of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Microsoft Sentinel. Creation of alerts using KQL, operational dashboards, and analytical rules.
