Job Summary: We are seeking a Welder-Assembler Technician for equipment manufacturing in the metal-mechanical industry, with the ability to interpret drawings and operate MIG/MAG welding equipment. Position: Welder\-Assembler Salary: To be agreed upon Description: A leading metal-mechanical company in Medellín requires a **Welding Technician** with expertise in manufacturing equipment for the food industry and general industry (e.g., conveyor belts), interpretation of drawings, and knowledge of welding process specifications. Operation of welding equipment, with the ability to determine optimal equipment settings based on the component being fabricated. Perform MIG/MAG welding on pipes and metallic structures according to applicable procedures and regulations. The candidate must be resourceful, proactive, capable of working collaboratively and under pressure, with a strong sense of responsibility and integrity. Responsibilities: \- Full fabrication of components and assembly of equipment. \- Reading of technical fabrication and assembly drawings. \- Selection of welding equipment parameters based on the component being processed. \- Willingness to complete work as scheduled per production planning. \- Handling of confidential information. \- Maintenance and cleaning of work equipment. \- Willingness to travel as required by project conditions. \- Compliance with occupational health standards and the company’s general regulations.
