Job Summary: We are seeking an Estimating Team Leader to lead and supervise the estimation process for construction projects, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with standards. We are looking for an Estimating Team Leader with over five (5) years of experience in construction estimating, pre-construction, or structural steel estimating, and twelve (12) months of team leadership experience, contributing to the growth, accuracy, and successful delivery of high-impact projects. · Academic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related fields; equivalent professional experience is acceptable. · Job Mission: Lead and supervise the estimation process for construction projects, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with established standards through efficient team management, strategic estimate validation, and coordination of projects and tenders across relevant departments. · Responsibilities: - Ensure accuracy and quality of estimates prepared by the team, guaranteeing adherence to standards and project scope. - Lead and supervise the estimation team’s performance through continuous monitoring and feedback. - Assign and prioritize workload according to project complexity and established deadlines. - Review strategic and high-risk estimates to ensure validation and standardization processes. - Monitor production, accuracy, and operational workload indicators, leading periodic follow-up meetings. · Knowledge: - Reinforcement bar calculation and estimation platforms (aSa Estimating, Shear 97, Soulé, RGS, or equivalent). - Ability to provide performance feedback, guidance, and support for professional development. · Professional Competencies: Leadership, analytical thinking, teamwork, attention to detail, adaptability, and results orientation. · Salary: COP $6,500,000 to $7,300,000 + current statutory benefits. Contract Type: Indefinite-term contract. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
