The next meeting will take place on **Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the University of Antioquia (UdeA), Block 21, Auditorium 326.** In this talk, we will provide an **offensive introduction** to understand, from an educational and responsible perspective, how modern malware is structured, hidden, and communicates. We will review key concepts of the attack lifecycle, analyze real evasion techniques, and conceptually explain how **Command & Control (C2)** channels work. ## What will you learn? * Basic concepts about the architecture and lifecycle of modern malware. * Common hiding and evasion techniques, explained at a conceptual level. * How Command & Control channels operate and what indicators allow detecting them. * Defensive best practices and controls to mitigate these types of threats. We look forward to seeing you!
