SENAS Integrated Pest Management Course required A prominent environmental sanitation company is seeking a Technical Specialist in Integrated Pest Management in Public Health and Potable Water Tank Cleaning for its team, to serve the city of MEDELLÍN. REQUIREMENTS: - Experience in Integrated Pest Management in Public Health - Experience in cleaning and disinfection of potable water tanks. - Completion of the SENAS Integrated Pest Management Course. - Optional: Course in Cleaning and Disinfection of Potable Water Tanks. - Optional: Advanced Height Work Course. - Optional: Confined Spaces Course under Resolution 0491 of 2020. - Candidate must reside in the Aburrá Valley and be available for occasional travel outside the city. - Immediate availability to start. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Inspect facilities and identify infestation sources and sanitary risks. - Define and implement pest control and disinfection treatments according to area-specific needs. - Measure areas, calculate materials, and estimate service costs. - Apply traps, baits, fumigation, and disinfection while adhering to safety standards and chemical handling protocols. - Monitor treatment effectiveness, control recurrence, and ensure cleanliness of treated areas. - Advise clients on pest prevention, space cleaning and disinfection, and tank cleaning and disinfection. - Maintain activity records and reports, coordinating with clients and authorities as required.
