Focus on safety and best practices A manufacturing-sector company requires a Forklift Operator located on Via Acopi, Yumbo. Requirements: * High school diploma * Valid forklift operator certification, with at least 2 years of experience, preferably in an industrial environment. * Ability to maneuver forklifts in narrow and confined spaces, * Proficiency in operating gasoline- and gas-powered forklifts from Caterpillar, Heli, and Toyota. Profile: An individual experienced in loading and unloading goods, distinguished by strong communication skills, willingness to work, ability to follow procedures, responsibility, and flexibility to adapt to varying work schedules. Responsibilities: \- Perform loading and unloading operations for goods. \- Transport materials and products within the facility. \- Ensure loads are balanced and secured during transport. \- Conduct daily equipment checks, including brakes, lights, and oil levels. \- Report any mechanical or operational issues. \- Efficiently place and store goods on shelves. \- Maintain a tidy and obstacle-free workplace. \- Comply with established safety regulations and protocols. \- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). \- Collaborate with other employees, such as loaders and the Logistics Manager, to coordinate operations. \- Report inventory status and working conditions. \- Participate in training sessions on new procedures and technologies. \- Stay updated on best practices for forklift operation.
