Job Summary: We are seeking a Production Operator to assist with handling, transportation, feeding, packaging, adjustments, changeovers, and maintenance in the production plant, following instructions and procedures. Management of materials and processed or unprocessed products At Smurfit Westrock, we are seeking a Production Operator for Production Ramp-Up, with a Technical or Technological academic background in Maintenance, Mechanics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Processes, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, Logistics, or related fields, to work at our Yumbo, Valle del Cauca plant. · Responsibilities: Provide support in required tasks involving handling, transportation, feeding, and packaging of materials and processed or unprocessed products. Assist in tasks requiring alignment, adjustments, changeovers, inspections, controls, sampling, and recordkeeping. Collaborate, as needed, in equipment maintenance, repair, cleaning, and replacement, following established instructions and procedures. Ensure all materials and supplies necessary for packaging and sampling are readily available. Package, transport, grind, and stack processed or unprocessed material. Deposit waste materials in designated locations and perform housekeeping and cleaning duties. · Requirements: Experience in production plants performing operational functions. Technical or Technological academic training in Maintenance, Mechanics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, Logistics, or related fields. Availability to work rotating shifts. · Conditions: Fixed-term employment contract, directly with the company. Rotating shift availability: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM / 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM / 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Sunday to Sunday, with one day off per week.
