Ensuring quality and timely delivery of mechanical parts **Job Description** ---------------------- A major partner company located in Medellín requires technical or technological personnel trained in CNC tools, conventional machine tools, or programming and operation of vertical machining centers, with at least one (1) year of experience in production processes and related positions. Mission: To program and operate the Vertical Machining Center (VMC) according to drawings, dimensions, and specified tolerances, ensuring proper tool usage, compliance with safety standards, and timely delivery of mechanical parts meeting high-quality standards for preventive and corrective maintenance. Responsibilities: * Program and operate the Vertical Machining Center using CAM software (Inventor CAM, Mastercam or others), ensuring dimensional accuracy, tolerance compliance, and on-time delivery. * Interpret and draft technical drawings using CAD software or freehand sketching, ensuring accurate visualization, manufacturing, and quality control of parts. * Execute machining processes and verify final quality of manufactured components, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and requester requirements. * Record performed activities in established systems. Technical Knowledge: * Programming and operation of Vertical Machining Centers (VMC). * Conventional machines and machining processes. * Programming using CAM software. * Interpretation of mechanical drawings and 3D modeling. * Use of measuring instruments. Salary: between $3,000,000 to $3,300,000 + social benefits. Contract Type: Indefinite-term. Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday, rotating 12-hour shifts – Friday to Sunday.
