Handle raw materials and perform inventory rotation (FIFO). A reputable city club is seeking a Kitchen Assistant with at least 1 year of experience to join its team. Duties: Keep the workstation clean and tidy; assist the chef with assigned kitchen tasks. Maintain mise en place consistent with the current menu; properly label raw materials. Prepare food items (salads, dishes, and breaks specified for the cold kitchen); chop, cut, and disinfect food (fruits and vegetables). Serve members at the buffet; complete quality documentation forms. Perform raw material rotation following the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) system; store incoming orders received from the warehouse department. Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP); keep food handling certification up to date.
