DESCRIPTION Professional degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related fields, certified through a copy of the professional degree diploma or graduation certificate. At least five (5) years in Cybersecurity and four (4) years of specific experience in web application firewall (WAF) control (Imperva, Cloudflare), focused on administration, support, and operations. Proactively address requirements established by the client at medium and high levels, in accordance with established policies and procedures. Provide tactical insight into improving operated controls and deliver technical recommendations regarding service delivery. REQUIREMENTS Internal Note – Position Justification: Currently, the resources managing the Imperva WAF control are Network Security Engineers; however, within service delivery, we have experienced gaps in event diagnosis, given that they lack the knowledge required to review and understand application-level issues; resulting in escalations from the client. As an improvement action, a specialist is required to assume responsibility for managing this control and, in the future, to take over Cloudflare, which is currently administered by the client.
