Job Summary: We are seeking a Construction Assistant / Screw Operator with experience in paving crews to control asphalt mixture thickness and support general activities. Key Highlights: 1. A company located in Medellín requires a Construction Assistant / Screw Operator with one (1) year of experience in paving crews for its team. · Academic qualification: High school diploma. · Job requirements: - Knowledge of finisher machine screw and/or sensor operation. · Job mission: Measure and control asphalt mixture thickness during the paving process by adjusting the finisher machine screws, ensuring proper application and quality of the asphalt layer. · Responsibilities: - Manually adjust asphalt layer thickness by operating the paver. - Control crown (slope) and width of the laid layer. - Operate paver screed screws to define material thickness. - Continuously verify uniformity of applied material on site. - Support general activities of the paving crew when not performing screw operator duties. · Professional competencies: Teamwork, concentration, attention to detail, and responsibility. · Salary: $2,300,000 + statutory transportation allowance + current statutory benefits.
