Job Summary: A prominent environmental services and logistics company seeks an operator with experience in wastewater treatment to operate and maintain wastewater treatment plants. Teamwork and ensuring proper operation of the plants A prominent environmental services and logistics company requires an operator with experience in wastewater treatment for its workforce. We seek operational personnel with strong physical stamina, commitment, and the ability to work in production environments and handle materials, including wastewater treatment plants. Minimum 6 months of experience in industrial wastewater treatment. Education: Technical, technological, or environmental engineering degree, or related field. High school diploma accepted if candidate already possesses substantial experience in wastewater treatment. Responsibilities: Assemble, commission, operate, and maintain water supply and distribution networks, as well as install and maintain sanitation networks, meeting required quality and safety standards and complying with current regulations. Start up and commission wastewater treatment plants. Ensure proper functioning and operation of wastewater treatment plants. Perform basic repairs on plants when required. Monitor plant operation during shift to ensure correct functionality. Prepare chemical products for operational use. Maintain operational records using formats assigned by the supervisor and/or Operations Coordinator. Record operational incidents in the plant logbook. Promptly report operational incidents to the supervisor and/or Operations Coordinator. Conduct operational follow-up analyses for the wastewater treatment plant. Control inventory of chemicals and consumables. Measure control parameters according to established frequencies for each plant. Perform jar tests (pH, turbidity, color) to determine optimal dosages of chemicals used at the treatment plant. Collect composite samples at designated locations during the operational shift to verify established water quality parameters, for analysis in external and/or on-site laboratories. Report environmental, occupational health, and safety incidents occurring both inside and outside the company to the Operations Coordinator. Execute metrology plan activities for laboratory equipment used on-site. Maintain wastewater treatment plant facilities in optimal order and cleanliness conditions. Complete the daily logbook with incidents observed during the work shift. Record operational follow-up data. Record metrology data. Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor and/or company executives. Salary: $1,829,000 + Legal transportation allowance + $200,000 mobility allowance + Statutory benefits + Night shift premiums Work Schedule: Rotating 8-hour shifts from Sunday to Sunday, with one day off per week (6 a.m. to 2 p.m., 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.).
