Dispatch Supervisor We are seeking a Dispatch Supervisor with outstanding skills in leadership, teamwork, adaptability to change, and persuasive communication. Mission Ensure logistics for dispatch and distribution operations of goods by managing orders and monitoring transportation efficiency during deliveries and service quality provided to stores, while managing assigned personnel, fleet drivers, and available resources—whether owned or third-party. Responsibilities 1. Supervise delivery times for cargo shipments, establishing parameters to measure delivery delays. 2. Verify and manage merchandise return processes—including product condition or status, UCRs, and recycling—and assess compliance with terms and conditions for returns and replacements. 3. Conduct physical inventory control of merchandise units and track any potential shrinkage or theft. 4. Supervise that dispatched or distributed unit quantities match those reflected in the system or the dispatch document (DETRA). 5. Track issues arising along merchandise distribution routes. 6. Coordinate, analyze, and supervise strategies for merchandise dispatch and distribution. 7. Supervise and control performance of dispatch and distribution staff in fulfilling their duties. 8. Supervise and evaluate store satisfaction levels regarding dispatch and distribution services. 9. Manage the petty cash fund assigned to cover minor operational expenses in the dispatch area, ensuring its efficient use and accountability per established procedures. 10. Manage the area’s petty cash fund by performing required records and controls, and submitting periodic expense reports to ensure transparent usage. Requirements Technical or technological degree in Engineering, Logistics, Administration, or related fields. 2 years of experience leading work teams in merchandise dispatch operations. Availability to work in Girardota on rotating shifts from Sunday to Sunday, with one compensatory day per week. Experience managing personnel.
