The Refrigeration Technician will be responsible for the installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, replacement, calibration, and repair of vending machines (snacks, beverages, coffee, or others). They must ensure the proper operation of the machine fleet, guarantee a positive user experience, and maintain the service levels established by the company.
Compensation:
Base Salary: $2\.500\.000
Transportation Allowance: $249\.095
Tire Allowance: As needed.
***Main Responsibilities***
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on vending machines either on route or in the workshop.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic failures.
Calibrate and configure payment systems (coin acceptors, bill validators, POS terminals).
Manage product restocking, cleaning, and machine commissioning.
Maintain detailed records of interventions, spare parts used, and response times.
Install, relocate, and commission new or relocated machines.
Respond to customer-reported incidents within agreed response timeframes.
Propose improvements to optimize performance and reduce recurring failures.
**Candidate Requirements**
***Education***
Technical training in Electromechanics, Electricity, Electronics, Refrigeration, Mechatronics, or related fields.
Additional training in payment systems or vending machines is valued.
**Driver’s License Category A2; Category C1 is a plus**
***Experience***
1–3 years of experience in similar roles: industrial refrigeration technician, industrial machinery technician, electrician, or other electromechanical equipment technicians.
Experience managing technical service routes is valued.
***Technical Knowledge***
Diagnosis and repair of electrical/electronic failures.
Refrigeration.
Basic mechanics and electromechanical systems.
Knowledge of payment systems: coin acceptors, bill validators, contactless.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
Proficiency with hand tools, multimeters, and configuration software (brand-specific).
