Position Summary: Responsible for ensuring accounting recordkeeping, control, budget execution, and financial reporting, guaranteeing compliance with legal, tax, and transparency requirements. Key Responsibilities: 1. Daily accounting transaction recording 2. Payroll and social security preparation and reconciliation 3. Support in preparing municipal and national tax filings **Purpose of the Position:** To ensure the organization’s and the ESAL’s various projects/donations’ accounting recordkeeping, control, budget execution, and financial reporting, safeguarding compliance with legal, tax, and transparency requirements mandated by oversight entities, as well as providing the administrative support necessary for institutional operations. **Main Responsibilities:** * Daily recording of accounting transactions (accruals, cash receipts, disbursements, accounting memos, bank reconciliations). * Preparation and reconciliation of payroll, social security, and social benefits. * Preparation of annexes and drafts for municipal and national tax filings (withholding tax, income tax returns). * Support with magnetic media submissions. · Additionally, archival custody and direct assistance in logistics for internal events and institutional administrative tasks, ensuring timely response to management’s requests and other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
