**Response Processing Assistant** **Modality**: Remote (Home Office) **Pay**: 1,200 USD per month **Schedule**: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pacific Time **Who We Are** The Quiroga Law Office, PLLC was founded in 2009\. We represent clients nationwide and focus on asylum, citizenship, family immigration, nonimmigrant visas, deportation defense, TPS, green cards, waivers, and consular processing. We pride ourselves on being well\-run, organized, innovative, and a great place to work. **Responsibilities** As a Response Processing Assistant, you will support the preparation of high\-quality responses to Requests for Evidence (RFE) issued by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). You will work closely with Paralegals, attorneys, and the Compliance team. Your main responsibilities will include: * Assisting in **gathering, organizing, and preparing** documents required for RFE responses. * Reviewing forms and documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with USCIS requirements. * Maintaining **updated records and databases** with all relevant case and RFE information. * Coordinating communication with clients to obtain additional information, missing documents, or clarifications. * Providing **administrative support** to the Compliance team, including calendar management, tracking deadlines, and monitoring RFE response timelines. * Conducting **basic research on immigration regulations** and policy updates that may impact RFE strategies and responses. **What We Are Looking For (Requirements)** **Technical \& Core Requirements** * **Bilingual**: Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken). * **English proficiency: Advanced level (C1 required).** * Background in **Law, International Relations, Political Science, or a related field** (degree preferred). * Strong skills in Microsoft Office and digital platforms (Word, Excel, Outlook, online document management). * Ability to read, understand, and apply instructions and regulations related to immigration procedures. * Detail\-oriented and consistent in following procedures, checklists, and quality standards. **Soft Skills \& Values** * **Strong analytical skills**: able to review documents critically and detect inconsistencies or missing information. * **Clear and professional communication** with clients and internal teams. * **Ownership and reliability**: respects deadlines and follows through on assigned tasks. * **Team mentality:** collaborative, supportive, and comfortable working closely with Paralegals and attorneys. * **Commitment to immigration work**: motivated by helping immigrants move their cases forward and build their future. **Computer Requirements** * **OS**: **Windows 11** or higher. * **RAM**: **16 GB** DDR4 or higher. * **Processor**: Intel i5 (10th gen or newer), Intel i7 (6th gen or newer), or AMD Ryzen 5 or higher.
