The role will be responsible for ingesting complex data sources, designing efficient transformations, and ensuring data processing performance and incrementality. Required Technical Skills * Advanced Python (pandas, polars, SQLAlchemy) * Advanced Apache Airflow (DAGs, Hooks, Operators, Sensors, Pools, XCom, SLA) * Expert SQL and PL/SQL (Oracle, MSSQL, and Postgres) * ETL/ELT process design incorporating business rules * Incrementality, idempotency, and logical partitioning * Best practices for extraction to protect Oracle core systems * Postgres loading patterns (UPSERT, MERGE, batch insert) * Azure DevOps and Azure Pipelines * Power BI * Data quality validations (Data Quality – DQ) Responsibilities * Design base DAG templates in Airflow * Ensure technical code quality for the project * Model data layers: staging, core, and curated * Translate business rules written in PL/SQL into transformations in Python or SQL * Guide and support Junior and Semi-Senior Data Engineers * Ensure pipeline security, governance, and observability Employment Type: Full-time, Indefinite Term Work Location: On-site
