**Job Objective:** Plan, coordinate, supervise, and ensure the optimal operation, maintenance, and safe use of production machinery, guaranteeing quality, operational continuity, and compliance with industrial safety standards. 1\. **Equipment Supervision and Control.** Verify daily the condition and proper use of machines, generating reports to management. * Supervise the quality of cut and veneered products, ensuring compliance with standards. * Document and track the usage of blades, spare parts, and tools. * Ensure proper use of PPE and maintain order and cleanliness in the work area. * Maintain a life record for each machine including maintenance and repair history. 2\. **Maintenance and Technical Management** * Develop and execute preventive, corrective, predictive, and proactive maintenance schedules. * Perform equipment and tool repairs, part replacements, and technical adjustments. * Carry out calibrations, deep cleanings, and tests to ensure cutting and veneering quality. * Manage inventories of machines, spare parts, and tools, handling purchases with quotations. * Coordinate internal and external repairs, relocations, and installations of machinery. * Conduct technical tests, calibrations, and adjustments to prevent prolonged downtimes. * Control waste and optimize machine performance (OEE). 3\. **Documentation and Reporting Management** * Prepare maintenance reports, intervention records, and technical recommendations. * Maintain Excel records of inventories, expenses, and suppliers. * Document operating and safety procedures and manuals. * Submit photographic evidence and control sheets to management. 4\. **Training and Development** * Onboard and guide new operators to ensure their competence. * Conduct periodic training on safe handling, maintenance, and cleaning of machines. * Teach calibration techniques and proper use of blades, cutters, and tools. * Educate staff on accident prevention and good production practices. 5\. **Continuous Improvement and Operational Coordination** * Participate in implementing time and motion studies to optimize production. * Assign responsible personnel for autonomous maintenance on each machine. * Coordinate with point-of-sale managers regarding machine status and requirements. * Resolve technical issues and propose improvements to increase productivity and quality.
