




**Position: Quality Assistant** **Job Objective** Ensure compliance with established quality standards for marketed materials (wood and derivatives) and provided services (cutting and veneering), guaranteeing that products delivered to the end customer meet the technical and presentation criteria defined by the company, thereby contributing to the brand's recognition for excellence. **Main Responsibilities** * **Material Supervision:** * Verify the quality of raw materials received and stored in the warehouse (wood, caps, veneering supplies). * Document non-conformities and coordinate their return or correction with logistics and suppliers. * **Production Control:** * Inspect cutting and veneering processes at all sales points with production. * Validate measurements, finishes, adjustments, and final presentation before dispatch to the customer. * Monitor adherence to defined standard times. * **Standardization and Continuous Improvement:** * Establish and update technical sheets and visual quality standards. * Implement checklists and forms for daily/weekly reviews. * Propose corrective and preventive actions to reduce recurring errors. * **Complaint Management:** * Analyze causes of complaints regarding product or service quality. * Follow up on the resolution of these cases together with the sales and customer service departments. * **Training and Quality Culture:** * Train operators and assistants in good production and handling practices. * Promote a culture of quality and compliance across all operational levels. * **Reporting and Monitoring:** * Deliver weekly reports on findings, non-conformity statistics, and progress on improvement actions. * Coordinate with the time and motion technologist to optimize processes without affecting quality. **Salary** * **Estimated Range:** * $1\.600\.000 **Recommended Profile** * **Education:** Technologist or technician in Quality Management, Industrial Production, or related fields. * **Experience:** Minimum 2 years in quality control of industrial processes or materials, preferably wood. * **Skills:** Attention to detail, operational leadership, assertive communication, customer orientation, teamwork, proficiency in Excel, checklists, blueprint reading (optional).
