Job Summary: A prominent automotive sector company is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to handle merchandise receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch, ensuring order and safety. Equipment Handling and Warehouse Safety A leading automotive (auto parts) company requires a Warehouse Assistant to join its team. Responsibilities: Merchandise Receiving and Storage Receive, inspect, and register incoming products at the warehouse. Verify that merchandise matches purchase orders. Classify and organize products on shelves or designated storage areas. Ensure proper storage to prevent damage or deterioration. Inventory Control Conduct physical counts and maintain stock records. Report inventory discrepancies or inconsistencies. Label and code products according to internal procedures. Order Preparation and Dispatch Pick, pack, and dispatch merchandise according to outbound orders. Verify order completeness and product condition before delivery. Load and unload goods onto delivery vehicles. Equipment Handling and Safety Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment (if authorized). Maintain warehouse order and cleanliness. Comply with safety regulations and risk prevention standards. Other Responsibilities Assist in preparing inventory and merchandise movement reports. Collaborate with other teams on logistics for product shipping and receiving.
