Job Summary: We are seeking a swimming pool technician to ensure the proper operation, safety, and water quality of swimming pools and wet areas through operation and maintenance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Maintain swimming pools, jacuzzis, and wet areas, ensuring clean spaces. 2. Monitor water parameters and apply chemicals correctly. 3. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on filtration equipment. The company El Punto del Aseo, located in the city of Medellín, is looking for a swimming pool technician with 6 months of experience in general cleaning and maintenance of swimming pools, jacuzzis, and wet areas. · Academic qualification: Primary, secondary, or high school education (graduated or currently studying) Requirements and/or knowledge for the position: - Operation of filtration systems: pumps, sand filters, cartridge filters, or diatomaceous earth filters. - Monitoring water parameters: measuring and adjusting chlorine, pH, alkalinity, hardness, and other chemicals. - Preparation and dosing of chemical products: chlorine, algaecides, flocculants, stabilizers, etc. - Preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment: pumps, valves, skimmers, hair traps, nets, and tools. - Pool cleaning: manual vacuuming, brushing walls and floor, debris collection. - Special treatments: chlorine shock, algae treatment, water clarification, and recovery of green water. - Swimming pool technician training course. · Job mission: Ensure the proper operation, safety, and water quality of swimming pools and wet areas through correct operation, monitoring, and maintenance of hydraulic and filtration systems, guaranteeing clean and safe spaces for use. · Professional competencies: Adaptability, critical thinking, and organization. Responsibilities: - Carry out general maintenance of swimming pools, jacuzzis, and wet areas. - Monitor water parameters such as chlorine, pH, alkalinity, and hardness. - Prepare and dose chemical products according to protocols. - Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on filtration equipment. - Execute technical cleaning through manual vacuuming and brushing of walls and floor. Salary: $1,750,905 + current statutory benefits. Contract type: Project-based or service contract. Working hours: Monday to Saturday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
