Job Summary: We are seeking a Reliability Engineer to lead the CMD (Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability) asset management strategy, optimizing the lifecycle of mining equipment and reducing risks. Key Highlights: 1. Lead the asset management strategy under the CMD model 2. Optimize operational efficiency and reduce technical risks 3. Design and update maintenance plans using RCM We are looking for a Reliability Engineer responsible for leading the asset management strategy under the CMD (Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability) model. The primary objective is to optimize the lifecycle of mining equipment by applying RCM, CBM, and risk-based methodologies to ensure maximum operational efficiency and reduction of technical risks. Key Responsibilities CMD Model Management: Monitor and optimize Reliability (probability of proper functioning), Maintainability (ease and speed of intervention), and Availability (effective operating time) parameters for critical assets. FMECA Analysis: Lead Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis to identify critical components and define preventive and predictive maintenance tasks aligned with risk. RCM Strategy: Design and update maintenance plans using Reliability-Centered Maintenance methodology, ensuring each task adds value to the asset’s function. CBM Implementation: Oversee the Condition-Based Maintenance program, integrating monitoring techniques (vibration, thermography, oil analysis) to predict failures before they occur. Maintainability Optimization: Analyze MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and propose improvements in procedures, tools, and asset design to facilitate technical interventions. Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Investigate catastrophic or repetitive failures to eliminate systemic issues and improve MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures). Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. Minimum 2 years of experience in Reliability or Maintenance Planning departments within industrial or mining sectors. Knowledge of RCM, FMECA, and CBM methodologies. Proficiency in asset management KPIs and mathematical CMD models (Weibull distribution, life analysis, etc.). Experience with maintenance management software (CMMS/ERP such as SAP or Maximo) and advanced Excel for data analysis.-Requirements- Minimum education: University / Professional Degree years of experience Keywords: engineers, ingeniera, ing, engineer
