ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT

We require a person 18 years or older, studying public accounting (from 4th semester onwards), or with a technical or technological degree in accounting or related fields. Their responsibilities would be: 1\. Record the different economic events of the company, such as disbursement vouchers, sales invoices, accrued expenses, adjustments, reclassifications, credit notes, among others. 2\. Classify and record expenses, labor, commercial, tax, and financial obligations according to the chart of accounts. 3\. Verify compliance of received accounting documents, including invoicing requirements, supporting documents, among others. 4\. Request electronic invoicing from suppliers and third parties as required. 5\. Monitor due dates for accounts receivable and payable. 6\. Issue disbursement vouchers prior to payment for each transaction, according to the payment schedule. 7\. Input accounts payable into cash flow forecasts and update them with each disbursement made. 8\. Reconcile cash flow at the end of each month based on bank statement balances and cash registers. 9\. Review and account for payroll, including changes and deductions. 10\. Review and process calculation of social benefits settlements. 11\. Review and record the social security report prepared by the Human Resources and Occupational Health and Safety department. 12\. Perform bank reconciliations considering the company's closing dates. 13\. Manage, review, and approve petty cash funds in the Accounting, Distribution, and Logistics departments. 14\. Control and verify payments of the company's financial obligations. 15\. Prepare accounts payable reports (maturity analysis). 16\. Prepare tax filings according to the tax calendar (withholding at source, VAT, industry and commerce tax). 17\. Archive and update accounting ledgers sequentially, in order, along with all supporting documents. SALARY: 1,500,000\- 1,600,000 HOURS: Mon\-Fri from 07:00 to 17:00 Position type: Full-time
