Job Summary: We are seeking an Accounting Technician or professional with a related background to support the execution and control of accounting processes, ensuring regulatory compliance and the reliability of financial information. Ensuring regulatory compliance and accounting reliability An allied company is looking for an Accounting Technician or professional with a related background to join its team. Candidates must have studies related to Public Accounting or similar fields and at least 2 years of experience in the area. · Job Mission: Support the execution and control of the organization’s accounting processes through the recording, validation, reconciliation, and accrual of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with current regulations and the reliability of accounting information. · Specific Responsibilities: Audit received invoices to verify compliance with regulatory requirements prior to accrual. Validate advance liquidations and record the corresponding accounting entries. Register electronic invoices in the accounting system and manage the submission of supporting documents to the DIAN (Colombian Tax and Customs Authority). Perform accounting reconciliations, including invoice reconciliations between SIESA and DIAN, as well as bank reconciliations. Carry out activities related to the accounting cycle, including accruals, cash receipts, disbursements, and sales invoicing. · Required Knowledge: Intermediate Excel proficiency. Proficiency in the SIESA application. Electronic invoicing. Bank and accounting reconciliations. Accounting cycle. Applicable accounting and tax regulations. · Competencies: Effective communication. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Contract Type: Indefinite-term contract.
