Today, we seek an SQL Analyst with strong technical expertise and an analytical mindset. What will be your role? Design, analyze, and optimize SQL queries in SQL Server and MySQL Audit and understand the data flow from the application to the database: Inserts Updates Transactions Identify and correct poor data-writing practices from the backend Extract information from multiple sources such as: Other databases Flat files (CSV, Excel) APIs or external services Structure and store data in SQL while ensuring: Integrity Performance Scalability Detect and resolve issues related to: Slow queries Locks High resource consumption Support development teams in data persistence best practices Propose data model improvements based on the origin of information What do we look for in you? Mandatory Solid SQL proficiency: Complex JOINs Subqueries CTEs Indexes Stored Procedures Experience with SQL Server and/or MySQL Ability to understand how the application inserts data into the database Basic/intermediate knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript for backend code reading Experience integrating and loading data from multiple sources into SQL Desirable Experience with ETL / ELT processes API consumption and handling of external data Use of ORM or query builders Strong judgment in data modeling and normalization Ideal Profile Technician or professional in Systems, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, and/or Databases Minimum 3 years of experience in this role Analytical, proactive, and optimization-oriented Strong technical communicator with development teams Job Conditions Contract: Indefinite-term contract, directly with the company.
